BREAKING! Real Madrid clip Atletico’s wings, cruise to UCL final

Real Madrid are through to the final of the 2017 UEFA Champions League
They lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, but qualified on 4-2 aggregate

Spanish club Real Madrid have qualified for the final of the 2017 UEFA Champions League even though they lost 2-1 to city rivals Atletico Madrid in their second leg match played on Wednesday night, May 10, 2017.
Real Madrid went into the encounter with relaxed minds after beating Atletico Madrid 3-0 in the first leg, but their hosts pulled a surprise at the Estadio Vicente Calderon as they scored two goals within five minutes.
Koke supplied a powerful cross in the 12th minute, and Saul Niguez gave the hosts the lead with a stunning header that sent Keylor Navas the wrong way.

Atletico Madrid scored their second goal in the 16th minute after Raphael Varane fouled Fernando Torres, and the referee wasted no time to give Atletico the spot kick which was scored by Antoine Griezmann.
Isco pulled one back for Real Madrid in the 42nd minutes to make life difficult for Atletico in the second half as they would have to score three goals for any chance of qualification.
The hosts tried to score more goals, but met a more composed Real Madrid defense as the match ended 2-1 and Real qualified for the final on 4-2 aggregate.
We can report that Real Madrid will meet Italian giants Juventus in the final. Juventus defeated French side Monaco in their own semi-final duel.
